A Portland-based decorative artist specializing in Venetian Plaster, micro cement, painted floors, gilding and other faux finishes. Dylan was born in Portland, Oregon and attended Occidental College in Los Angeles where he cultivated his passion for studio and decorative arts. He moved to the New Orleans in 2014, where he worked for New Orleans Decorative Finishes and apprenticed under Madilynn Nelson, a leading decorative artist, from 2014-2017. In 2017 he started his own decorative artist business focusing on Venetian Plaster, painted furniture, and faux finishes. In the last few years he has completed Venetian Plaster at four Emeril Lagasse restaurants, two John Besh restaurants, along with many boutique hotels in New Orleans. Dylan also teamed up with New Orleans-based artist Ann Marie Auricchio for many more high-profile jobs around the city. He returned to my hometown of Portland at the beginning of 2024.
